Osprey has a proven track record in delivering high-quality public rapid charging infrastructure that meets the diverse requirements of EV drivers; residents, shoppers and en-route drivers can all benefit from Osprey’s easy-to-use service. By offering on-site rapid EV charging in the centre of Poundbury, The Duchy of Cornwall is supporting the growing number of EV drivers not only for residents but also for drivers visiting the town.
Customers visiting the Poundbury site can access Osprey’s rapid charge points without the need for membership or subscription. Osprey’s rapid chargers operate on a simple contactless payment method. The chargers are compatible with every EV on the market today and provide 80 miles of charge in as little as 30 minutes. This means that during the average 73-minute shopping trip, drivers can expect to add over 160 miles of range, depending on the battery. Regular customers include local residents as well en-route customers from the A35.
