Osprey soars at the 2024 EVIE awards.

It was a successful night for Osprey at the Electric Vehicle Innovation and Excellence Awards 2024, as we brought home three big awards!

We are proud to have been awarded:

- Chargepoint Network of the Year, for the 2nd year in a row!

- Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year, for the 2nd year in a row!

-EV Marketing / Branding Campaign of the Year, for the 2nd year in a row!

Winning Chargepoint Network of the Year highlights the exceptional quality, reliability, and scale of our charging network. Receiving this for the second consecutive year reinforces our consistency providing EV drivers with the best possible charging experience.  The judges at the EVIEs noted that Osprey “continue to shine as leaders, particularly in the ultra-rapid segment.” This recognition is a testament to all the hard work and dedication of our team across every department and at every level in making the UK’s charging infrastructure more accessible, reliable, and future proof.

Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year celebrates our forward-thinking approach to expanding and operating EV charging infrastructure. The EVIEs judges commented on Osprey’s “Good strategy, clearly defined stages, good collaboration with infrastructure provider.” By combining our strategic vision with strong partnerships and the autonomy of our in-house software platform Osprey Iris, Osprey is well positioned to meet the rapidly increasing demand for EV charging, ensuring the network remains open to all EV drivers, well-monitored and maintained, and adaptable to future needs.

Finally, the EV Marketing / Branding Campaign of the Year award for our Visions of the Future campaign with video production partner BearJam. This focused on how children envision the future of our planet, their hopes and fears and the role clean transportation can play in shaping it. Our winning video campaign, Visions of the Future, was described by judges as a “Very detailed nomination, a fun idea to include the ideas of kids and take advantage of AI.” You can watch the full video here.

We were also shortlisted for:

• EV Financing Deal of the Year with Novuna, for their financing of our extensive roll-out of ultra-rapid charging hubs over the last two years.
• EV Under 30 Star – for our talented Network Operations Lead, Marco Pappalardo.
