Osprey Charging welcomes Andrew Nosworthy.

Andrew Nosworthy joins Osprey Charging leadership team in the role of Commercial Director

Osprey bolsters leadership team ahead of surge in demand for EV charging.

Osprey have further strengthened their Executive team with the appointment of Andrew Nosworthy to the role of Commercial Director.

Andrew brings 15 years’ experience in infrastructure project delivery, at some of London’s leading law firms and as the Power & Infrastructure counsel at Investec for 7 years. Andrew joins Osprey from Greenlink, a 500MW interconnector project linking GB and the Republic of Ireland. Andrew has previously transacted many billions of project finance across Europe and the US, including the £400m refinancing of a 500MW PV portfolio and £180m for 850MW of merchant CCGT.

Andrew first became involved with Osprey in 2018 when he was part of the team that led Investec’s investment into the business, and in 2019 arranged a significant investment from Cube Infrastructure Partners, the €3bn European infrastructure fund.

I am delighted to welcome Andrew to the team, as he brings a track record of completing multi-million-pound infrastructure investment projects, which will be essential as Osprey grow to the next level delivering a roll-out of high-powered EV charging hubs.

Ian Johnston, Osprey CEO

Osprey Charging works in partnership with landowners to deliver fully funded and maintained rapid charging units. The company works with organisations spanning the pub and hospitality sector, retail parks, and local authorities to roll out rapid EV charge points across the UK. The company’s partners include Marston’s Inns and Taverns, M7 Real Estate, Brookhouse, and Cardiff Council.

Osprey was voted by EV drivers as one of the UK’s favourite public charging networks in both Zap Maps’ annual survey and a recent What Car? consumer survey. All of Osprey’s rapid charge points are accessible without the need for membership or subscription and drivers can use a simple contactless payment method. Osprey’s chargers are compatible with every EV on the market today and charge at speeds of up to 175kW, providing an 80% charge in just 15 minutes.
