Terms and Conditions.
1. Promoter
1.1 The Promoter of this game is OSPREY CHARGING NETWORK LTD incorporated in England and Wales with company registration number (Company No. 8460233) whose registered office is at Camburgh House, 27 New Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 3DN.
2. The Game
2.1 The game is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the game.
2.2 There is no entry fee to enter this game.
3. To be eligible for the game you must;
3.1 have access to the internet;
3.2 download Osprey’s electric vehicle charging App (Osprey App);
3.3 create an account within the Osprey App; and
3.4 initiate and complete a charging session for your electric vehicle of more than 25kWhs via the Osprey App.
4. How do I enter the game?
4.1 If you are eligible to play you will qualify for an opportunity to play the game and win a prize.
4.2 Eligible participants will be notified within the Osprey App and be able to tap a “play now” button. Once tapped you will access the game and be deemed to accept these terms and conditions and you confirm you are eligible to do so.
4.3 All entries must be submitted via the entry mechanism within the Osprey App by tapping the “play now” button and only one entry per eligible charging session of more than 25kWhs via the Osprey App is permitted.
4.4 Entry into the game does not mean that an eligible participant will necessarily win a prize but will simply have an opportunity to do so.
4.5 Data charges may apply (check with your internet service provider or mobile network).
5. How do I play the game?
5.1 The game is played by uncovering a play area (or a portion of the play area) on the game screen to reveal the play symbols.
5.2 A play symbol may appear in the play area and will be used to determine if a prize has been won.
5.3 Should a play symbol appear and is a winning play symbol a play caption will appear notifying you of a Prize.
6. Entry period
6.1 The opening date for entries is 00:00 on 4 December 2023. The closing date of the game is 23:59 on 31 January 2025. Entries received after this time will not be accepted (Promotional Period).
6.2 If for any reason a technical interruption, fault, site or app failure occurs when purchasing online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete purchases and any incomplete purchases will not be considered valid for entry into the game. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
7. Winners and Prizes
7.1 As a minimum there will be;
(a) 140 prizes of 5kWh
(b) 20 prizes of 10kWh
(c) 5 prizes of 20kWh (Prizes)
7.2 During the Promotional Period the Prizes will be randomly assigned to play symbols via a secure, computer programme and based on an algorithm with Prizes randomly seeded over the Promotional Period.
7.3 There is a minimum total of 165 winning play symbols no guarantee is given that all Prizes will be won during the Promotion Period.
7.4 Prizes are not compatible with any other offer or promotions.
8. Winner Notification
8.1 The winner will be notified instantaneously within the Osprey App or via a play caption, push notification or email.
8.2 The Prize will be recorded in the winner’s promotional section of the Osprey App.
8.3 If you win a Prize, your Prize will be added to the promotional section of your Osprey App. Prizes may take up to 15 min to be added to your account. If after 24 hours you have not seen a Prize updated, please contact our customer service team.
8.4 The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
8.5 All Prizes must be used within three months of winning otherwise they will lapse and expire.
8.6 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prizes with an alternative Prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
9. Redeem your Prize
9.1 If you are successful, the Prize may be redeemed by selecting the Prize from the promotions section of your Osprey App and electing to allocate the Prize towards your next charging session.
10. General
10.1 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the game is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
10.2 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid winning moment took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major Prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who writes to OSPREY CHARGING NETWORK LTD at Camburgh House, 27 New Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 3DN (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter OSPREY CHARGING NETWORK LTD at Camburgh House, 27 New Dover Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 3DN. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
10.3 Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
10.4 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.5 Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Policy. See also condition 9.2 with regard to the announcement of winners.
10.6 These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
